Daisy Does Lunch On The Run
This idea came to me from my friend
Deborah whose teenagers are always
too much in a hurry for breakfast.
I gave her a dozen of these small buns
created from Daisy Bread Flour and
any quick bread recipe. I make them
in muffin pans, to give you some idea
of their size.
Then I keep them in the
Freezer in a plastic bag. Deborah
slaps an egg inside and maybe
some bacon and hands it off
while the bus is waiting at the door.
I pack a couple of these little round
treasures for an inexpensive quick treat
on the golf course. Since playing golf is
burning calories, I indulge myself in
fat-free peanut butter and fruit-only jelly,
wrap them in aluminum foil and out the
door I go.
Try it and let us know what you
do with them.
