Prince Street Cafe
Thinking about pie comes naturally at this time of year. The popular proprietress of the Prince Street Café in our hometown of Lancaster, PA, holds up pie and coffee every day and sets us to thinking about all the fresh local ingredients we can put in the fillings before the frost – or put by for pie making this winter.
Among our favorite alternatives to Pumpkin Pie is Bill Telepan’s not-too-sweet Savory Sweet Potato Pie from his Inspired By Ingredients cookbook.
