What Does "Organic" Really Mean?

All Daisy Flours are not only “organic”, they are 100% organic through field, farm and our mill. To be considered organic, flour must travel a production and processing path in which every facet meets rigorous standards.
Beginning with the field in which the grain is grown, wheat must be farmed without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. The field must have been free of chemicals for at least three years prior to the wheat being planted.

After the grain is harvested, it must be stored and milled under strictly regulated conditions. These requirements are enforced by third party organic inspectors.
